Cumpleaños feliz! Thirty years old, wow! I remember the first time I knew about your birthday: 5 years ago, back in 2002.
I guess no one would have thought I would still be a fan of yours after all this time! But I am. And I still fall
in love with each one of your songs whenever I listen to your music! Ofcourse I am less fanatic than when I was a 13 year old, as I am also getting older and (hopefully) wiser each single day, but I still have this weird feeling in my stomach when I listen to your songs, the same feeling I had 5 years ago when I first heard Whenever Wherever.
Anyway, I hope you will be able to have us enjoy your music for many, many years! And I will see you in Arnhem the 3th
of february, hopefully frontrow! (Only now I realise you will probably read my message after that concert,
but maybe you will recognize me. You never know, haha.)

We got to really know each other and my parents talked to her parents and they let me fly to NYC to meet her and stay with her in NJ.  Shaki, no creo que leas mi carta, pero te tengo que decir que he sido una gran admiradora tuya hace muchos anos y seguiré queriendote para siempre. Has cambiado mi vida de muchas formas. Contigo y "Dónde Están Los Ladrones" aprendí mis primeras palabras espanoles, me presentaste Colombia a mí, un país que ahora ya veo como mi segunda patria. Con "Inevitable" me hiciste llorar quando era necesario. Todos tenemos momentos en que palabras ya no tienen poder, en que la vida no nos parece justo y tenemos que estar solos con nuestros pensamientos y, sobre todo, reconocer nuestros proprios emociones. Tú siempre me has ayudado con esto, pero también me hiciste reír y también llorar de felicidad MUCHAS veces. Te ví en Berlín hace 5 días y todavía me parece un sueno. Soy la chica que estuvo en la primera fila - llorando como una loca. jaja... Cantando cada palabra contigo con mi banderita Colombiana en la manita. Fue la primera persona enfrente del sitio. Te esperé 12 horas (te acuerdas del frio que hizo?) y casi me morí de frio. Nerviosa como una nina de 13 anos..jaja (tengo 21). También ví que lloraste mucho durante el concierto y sigo preguntandome por qué.
